Indexes size

Hello everybody,

my name is Enzo, i'm an italian DBA and i've an unanswered question about the size of a created index.

The size of an index can be seen in column bytes of view user_objects or can be extracted from the results of dbms_space.unused_space package. I expected the same number from differents source. Surprise. The numbers are differents!
Can someone tell me why?
