Hi
Are U sure that U'r Archive Log file is corrupt ? Then all other Archived Redo log files later to this cannot be used by Oracle for recovery.
If so ,While doing Media Recovery do a
> Recover Database until Cancel ;

and press Cancel when it is asking for this Corrupted File. Then do a
>Alter Database Open Resetlogs;

Try to Shutdown the Database Normal and take a Full Cold Database Backup because the Arch files gathered prior to 'RESETLOGS' may not be useful for further Recoveries(although this behaviour has changed marginally in Oracle 8)
