Hi all...

I just wondering if anyone knows where the server gets the username in the pseudo column 'user', for instance if you run "select user from dual" you get the logged in user. Does the server take this name from a v$-views or dba-views or is it grabbing this name from the memory? And is it possible to change this username within a session?

Regards,
Robin
