He is how I start PO8 under Win98.

1.I start Personal Oracle Database
2. Then, I go to  Dos prompt and type lsnrctl80.exe
3. Then, I type START

listener is up and running!
In my case, I have the following files
tnsnames.ora,sqlnet.ora & listener.ora in C:\orawin95\net80\admin Also, in the registery, there be an entry like net80=C:\orawin95\net80 Received on Thu Jun 24 1999 - 12:16:22 CDT
