ERROR 3113 trying to connect to OR805 using pro*c

We are trying to connect to OR805 using pro*c embeded SQl using DynamicSQL. when we run EXEC SQL CONNECT :name identified by :password we get 3113 error. And when we conect using following EXEC SQL CONNECT :user AT source_db USING :server_id ,the sqlda structure is empty.

Also if someone can explain,what does it mean to run in the Pro*c code. EXEC SQL DECLARE source-db DATABASE. Received on Tue Jun 22 1999 - 22:23:46 CDT
