My problem is with 7.3.2 to 7.3.4. I heard that 7.3.4 has the same database engine as 8 but without the new features ( e.g partitioning, objects). I am pretty sure its the new db product design.

With reference to the "UNRECOVERABLE" question, no jobs formerly ran in unrecoverable mode.
