sir,

  1. 2 instances(A and B) and a table t_1.
  2. t_1 is owned by x in instance A and there is a public synonym defined on it. ( t_1 point to x.t_1).
  3. t_2 is owned by y in instance B and there is a public synonym defined on it (t_1 is point to y.t_1).
  4. from instance A (public link_B point to instance B)
    > desc t_1_at_link_B => error message table y.t_1 does not exist.
    (this is using remote synonym)
    > desc y.t_1_at_link_B => worked ok
    (this is using remote table)

Question,

          Why remote public synonym does not work even remote table
             exists (because y.t_1_at_linK_b worked)?

Thanks in advance (tedchyn_at_yahoo.com)
