Philippe,

I can only confirm the same experience. We are running several Oracle databases on various platforms for development purposes. Ever since I installed Oracle 8 on Linux, this is our main platform. The reason is the clear advantage in performance and reliability over NT and in price (Sun's not Oracle's) over Solaris.
