Install Oracle8i on Solaris 7 failed

We are installing Oracle8.1.5 on Solaris 2.7 for testing. The installation is OK. When I created a database, I got the following problem:

ORA-00227: corrupt block detected in controlfile: (block 1, # blocks 1) ORA-00202: controlfile: '/u01/oradata/ora815/control01.ctl'

The database was started up nomount. It seemed to be a problem writing to disk.

It occurred with similar problem when I tried to install the 'starter database'.

Any help?
