relinking intelligent agent on linux

i've a problem installing the intelligent agent from oracle 8.0.5 on linux
6.0.


i get an relinking error:


/usr/i486-linux/bin/ld: cannot open -lctl :no such file or directory.
orapatch6.rpm from the s.u.s.e website didn't solve the problem.
any ideas what to try ??
