Help - Dev2000 wipes out NT icons and registry ?

I am working with Oracle 8 on WinNt 4.0 service pak 3.

I recently attempted to install Dev2000 on that machine. Upon installation, Dev2k wiped out all of the Oracle ICONs (Oracle related program groups) and appeared to remove all of the Oracle related NT Startup SERVICES ????

of course there are no FULL NT registry or system backups :(

1. Can i get my Program Groups and icons back ? How ?
2. Can i get my NT SERVICE entries re-created from existing post-install REG files ? How or which files do i use ?
3. Is Dev2k supposed to wipe out the Oracle Program Groups ? Is there an option is missed during installation ?
