First of all, thanks for the response to my SQL*Loader question.

I've been told by certain parties that an Pro*C array insert maybe a viable alturnative using a direct load. The problem is that a number of indexes need to be rebuilt after a load.

Can anyone shed some light on what the array insert is, has any one used the "direct-load" Insert ( not loader ) out there, is the performance comparable to SQL*Loader. Received on Fri Jun 11 1999 - 04:59:43 CDT
