HASH_AREA_SIZE question

Hello,

I have a question about the parameter HASH_AREA_SIZE. I have several queries running in parallel that use a hash join. From what I've read, to use a hash join, additional memory is required as given by hash_area_size. My question is, how does the hash_area_size get allocated?

If I'm running 16 server processes, will it use up 16*hash_area_size in memory? This is what the Oracle documentation seems to suggest.

Is there a dynamic view where I can see this information?
