Hi Andreas,

maybe you have not enough main-memory or swap space. To see your swap-space:
swapon -s (for kernel > 2.1.25)

dmesg|grep Memory
dmesg|grep Swap

Try to lower your db_block_buffers (ca 200), shared pool size (ca 3500000)
