Hi

Recently i installed Reports 3.0 on Nt 4.0. To automate the generation of reports (to schedule), it required Reports Server to be installed. The help documents for Reports Queue Manager says the installation notes for Reports server could be found in the help files %ORACLE_HOME%/TOOLS/DOC20 as r30mtsus.htm and r30ows.htm. But i just couldn't locate them in the specified dir. I do not know the name of report server exe. B'coz without knowing this i really can't be sure if i have the report server available on my m/c. The Reports 3.0 CD i have doesn't list the Reports Server in the asset manager. ( but lists developer 2000)

so what i need to know are:

  1. Is the report server a separate component to be purchased or it comes with Developer 2000 or Reports 3.0?
  2. Does installation of Reports Server require to be done separately than D2K or Reports 3.0? Or the installation of any one of these installs Rep server automatically.
  3. Can report server be installed on host other than where Oracle server is installed?
  4. how do i set the tns name for report server?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks a lot
& regards
