export+connect string?

hi all

when i make an export on a nt server with 2 sids , i don't have to specify a tns connect
string, the only thing i do is :set oracle_sid=sidname for each export. However on another nt server with 2 sids as well , this construction doesn't work
i get the following error message ORA-12154 : when i specify the TNS connect string the export works.

what is the difference ?
