I was able to create another database instance. I hadn't created the
directories specified in the config file. After creating those
directories, I was able to create the database.



However, I am unable to start both the ORCL instance and the instance I
have created.



When I start the TEST instance through svrmgrl utility, I get the
following error :



ORA-07279: spcre: semget error, unable to get first semaphore set.
