I have received the exact same error trying to install Oracle 7.3.4 on
Windows NT 4.0, Service pack 4.  I too found the install went perfectly, but
cannot get the service to start.  I performed the same install on NT
workstation, sp 4 and it works great.



Any help on this would be greatly appreciated....
