Hi there

How can I make oracle clients(jdbc, thin and oci) and server to choose special known ports (or ports wthin a given range)for their communication. Is this a job for the
connection manager or is there another tool to manage this issue. if the connection
manager is the right tool, here is an additional question: Should I expect any performance problems compared to the normal 'native' way to
connect to an oracle server.
The reason why I must use special or at least known ports is a special security manager and a firewall.

Thanks in advance
