Oracle 8.1

I have had Delphi crash when attempting to insert rows with Append into Oracle 8i (Oracle 8.1 NT). I was using the default Oracle8 dll that ships with Delphi. I am using Delphi 4 patch2 on NT4 sp4. Thanks in Advance,
