Hi,

I have a number of instances that are going to be used for a series of Y2K tests. These tests will (of course) involve rolling the machine date forward (while Oracle is down) and then restarting the instance.

My question : after running Oracle (V's 7.3.2.1, 7.3.3, 7.3.4, 8.0.4) for a time at a given date (say 29/02/2000) would it be possible to rollback the machine date and restart Oracle ? I can imagine the only possible problem would be with LGWR but would appreciate input/confirmation or related experiences.

Regards,

Neil Cudd. Received on Fri May 28 1999 - 04:26:07 CDT
