I was experiencing exact same symptoms (SegFault when running 'svrmgrl'). Is there another 'current' Linux distribution that will work with Oracle 8.0.5? Debian 2.1? Suse 6.1? Or which older version of RedHat?

I'm in midst of development and can't afford to wait for 8.1.5.

Thanks in Advance,

Wayland Chan
