I agree, I think its a software problem even though we have other things going on in the instance. My problem is that I want to see the specific SQL statements and Sessions that are blowing away my buffer cache. Here is a new twist, I am looking at V$SESS_IO to determine the hit/rate per session and the lowest hit rate I can find is 58%, but when I look at my current buffer cache hit rate for the system using v$sysstat to calculate I am around 45%, this makes no sense to me.
