Oracle Account Control

What can I restrict in an Oracle User Account? For example in Netware I can check

time of day
day of week
date expired
mandatory password
intruder detection
number of concurrent logins
etc.

I am thinking of letting people get to my database via login in with their Oracle user name and password. Can anyone tell me what I might gain or lose by doing this?
