I need help with a cold backup procedure on the following platform: Oracle 8.0.4 for NT using MSCS and Oracle FailSafe 2.1.2. When I do a shutdown immediate it fails over which unables me to do a disk backup and then the db can not startup because the control files are sitting on the shared disk between the 2 nodes (primary and failover). If anyone is using this setup I would appreciate your help with any input into backup procedures.

Thank you,
Stephanie
