Hi all,

I have big problems running Oracle 7.3.4 on a HP E45 SCO OpenServer 5.0.5.

After a laborious installation, I have created a new instance to receive a full 7.3.2 export dump file.

Now the new instance is running and I tried to import the data into it. The 'imp' command hangs, the oracleSID process is using all the cpu and nothing else happens !

What's wrong with 7.3.4 on SCO ? Is there anybody out there running a 7.3.4 server on SCO. Do I have to patch the system to run successfully my instances ?

Thanks for your help !
