1 No, you can use the exp from Oracle 7 against an Oracle 8 database to
accomplish the same.
Make sure you run $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/catexp7 in svrmgrl first
2 AFAIK no, I usually do this by means of MS-Access and ODBC. Works well
3 Use Access to accomplish this.
