JDBC Connections closed

We are using IIS with JDBC connections to a Solaris O8 8.0.5 db, and the latest JVM from microsoft: 5.00.3177, and the JDBC thin drivers from Oracle (We downloaded the latest as of a month ago)

Has anyone seen this problem as well? We're just dropping random connections with errors like:

java.sql.SQLException: Closed Statement

	at oracle/jdbc/dbaccess/DBError.check_error
	at oracle/jdbc/driver/OracleStatement.ensureOpen
	at oracle/jdbc/driver/OracleStatement.executeQuery

Is there a known workaround, or does anyone else's JDBC drivers work better?

Peter
