I am considerin re-install RedHat 5.2 to install/link Oracle Enterprise 8.0.5.1. Then (assuming that works), I shall upgrade to RedHat 6.0 to see if it still works.

Alternatively, RedHat 6.0 comes with the old libraries. Can the make files be hacked to use them instead? I have created a staging area so I can change them.
