Need comments !!!

Hi there,

A company asked me for help on project (OLAP application, ~3000 concurent users). They are preparing forms with Developer/2000, and use Oracle Application Server 3.0 in the middle (three-tier) .. All of the clients are Web Brosers (from Dial-Up to E1s) .. At the DB end there is currently Oracle 8.. It seems that the Application Server require around 15 GB memory (?) .. As i understand the Application server is running Forms Server for each users, and keep independent connection to client and DB for each client.. (?)

As i see there is new Developer 6.0, and new Application Server 4.0 .. but someone claims that its not possible to write multithread application with Developer (Forms) and use in the same way.. Any suddgestions and/or comments ?
