Database Creation Problem

Hello,

I created a database under Oracle 7.3.3. Everything went fine until I tried to go into SQL*PLUS. I got lots of message about packages not loaded and such. So, after some reading, I ran CATALOG, CATDBSYN, STANDARD, DBMSSTDX and CATPROC. Now, when I try to go into SQL*PLUS, it just sits there and hangs. It never goes into SQL*PLUS. What have I done wrong? Do I need to re-create the database?

What the the SQL scripts that need to be run when you manually create a database?

Please send replies to: amerar_at_ci.chi.il.us

Thanks for your help,

Arthur
