I have tried loading Oracle 8 to my Redhat Linux 5.1 box 4 times with no success! I keep getting the following error when I am in the linking and installing phase:

RELINKING ERROR. THE EXECUTABLES FOR ORACLE8 STANDARD (RDBMS) WERE NOT MADE SUCCESSFULLY. When I look in the install.log file the message refers to OIERR-SYSTEM rdbms.ins 2643.

I can't imagine what I'am doing wrong!

Thanks in advance for your help.
