From memory, Workstation only supports 10 concurrent users, so if you have more developers than that you'd be in strife. Otherwise, I think the only issue is that Server is better optimized to be a database server than Workstation is, unless you want to start looking at things like the 2 Gb memory limitation and getting around it.
