Hi there,

The following can be very useful to find out what you want to know:

N = T / TPR N is the number of the rollback segments needed T is the value of TRANSACTIONS parameter TPR is the value of TRANSACTIONS_PER_ROLLBACK_SEGMENT parameter


You can find some interesting statistics in the v$rollstat view. If there are a lot of waits, it's not good.
