Hi,

Under SQL*Net v2.3 and presumably Net8, there was a feature to be able to reduce connections from a certain IP Address. However, this was a LISTENER configuration and therefore did not restrict access to a particular User.

Also, I can't remember how it is defined in the Listener, but there are some good SQL*Net people out on the news group who might be able to help.
