escape character in queries?

Hello,

I have a thesaurus build under ConText that contain words with special character like '. I'd like to build a query on these words but Oracle compiler doesn't want. I tried the different solutions provided by the developper's guide (instead of 'that's the question' ==> 'that\'s the question). I tried to escape this character withe a \ and with {}, but it doesn't seem to work.

How can I do?
