Assuming a tnsnames.ora of
oracle <the servicename>
=
(address_list = (address=(host=localhost)(protocol=tcp)(port=1521)))) etc. the connect descriptor in ODBC should equal the service name in tnsnames.ora. The name of the ODBC DSN doesn't matter. t:ORCL refers to sqlnet 1, and I would be suprised 2: working, 2:ORCL probably
