Boris,

The v_$LOCKED_OBJECT refers to a view that sits upon an Oracle Fixed View Definition which is part of Oracle's internals.

Check the Oracle8 manuals to see if these views have been deemed to be obsolete in Oracle8 v8.0.5 (Sorry no manuals available at present).

Personally, I don't think this will be a problem, Andrew
