I first ran the default install (the one that installs most components) on RS6000 F50 dual processor system with 128MB of main memory.

It took a *long* time, ultimately failing during the link phase of one of the cartridges.

A subsequent custom install of much of the software less the cartridge components took about 35 minutes, during which the system was *very* busy. It appears to like a lot of memory, as well as a good amount of /tmp space.
