Problem creating database

Hi all,

I have oracle enterprise edition on windows NT 4 (sp4), when I try to create a database or even when I install oracle the database assistant stops with the message ORA 03113 "end-of-file on communication channel", I have tried with various combinations of installation methods, the problem is the same if I try with predefined database or with custom database. The installer does not work after installation, it stops for an access violation and exits.
