Don't kwow where these came from, but

> db_block_buffers=8192

on a (default) block_size of 2k, that would make 16M buffers - still quite a lot. Consider 2MB (1000 for 2k blocks)

52MB shared pool? What are you running, Oracle apps? How's a (805 large) of 9MB, or a single user Designer size of 18MB

New in 8.1.5? 70MB still seems quite large even for a limit

Heard about that one - seems to be needed for the JVM... Have no idea whether it could be made smaller. You could tru it, tho - do you use the jvm?
