On NT, net8 uses a different diry structure than net (2.x), namely net80/admin as opposed to network/admin - doesn't Unix have a net80 entry?

Hmmm, guess it reads the correct config file, then. I recall from SCO with Fusion (...), you needed to assign the 1521 (and 1526) port

specifically to oracle in some file - sorry can't recall which. Hope it triggers your grey mass.
