Anybody using updatable Snapshots in Production?

Hey folks,



Anybody have any comments regarding updatable snapshots in Oracle8?  I'm
looking into the possibility of using them for a high-availability secondary
database to back up my production box.  Any thoughts?  I have a very simple,
schema, but 1k-2k transactions per minute.
