c:\orant\network\admin directory. This file has the host strings that you can connect to. In that file you will find the machine name of the server or an IP address (most places use the machine name) along with the sid. Just edit the file in notepad and change the old machine name to the new one. You will need to do this on all of the clients (or change one file and distribute that) Bruce
