Re: Oracle 7.3.4 + SCO OpenServer 5.0.4 : Good idea?

Also check the SCO website regarding Oracle and requiring a idld file update for your Oracle install.

It affects 5.0.4 and 5.0.5.

I found this info in the SCO technical archives using the words: "Oracle SCO 5.0.4"

It was one of the installing woes I came into while installing Oracle 7.3.2 on SCO. Before I knew of this fix, I ended up moving the two files:

1. libsocket.a
2. libnsl_s.a

To a directory where the linkages could occur.
