Hello,

I was wondering whether anyone who is running Oracle on Sun's Enterprise 10000 server could answer some questions. If Oracle is running on some partition(s) and you want to repartition (some of) the other partitions, is Oracle really not affected by this operations?
If one of the CPU's in Oracle's partition set gives up, can you (hot) swap in a CPU from another partition (domain)? How time consuming is repartitioning?

Thanks in advance,
