Oracle 8 DBIDs and ERD tool

Does anyone know if there is anyway to change the dbid for Oracle 8 databases? I am supporting a peoplesoft project and I clone databases very frequently, but cloning keeps the same dbid which means I can not use RMAN for hotbackups, which I would like to do. Is changing the dbid ok?

Also we have a few databases full of custom developed apps so I was wondering if anyone knew of a good tool to do ERDs for a mutliple schema database?
