No, its when the backup gets to the ~Archivelogs section. It couldn't find the archive log files (I've since figured this out). It was a problem with the Init(SID).ora file, specifically, the Archive_log_format statement. It shoul be 'log_archive_format = "ARC%s.%T"' With a small 's' instead of a capital 'S'. Whoodathunk?? Thanks, anyway.
