OAS4 and FIle Uploads

Hi, perhaps someone can help - I'm using OAS4 on NT4 and am trying to use the file upload feature - so far documentation I have found seems somewhat sketchy. Has anyone used this - could you please shed some light - can you get the file to the servers filesystem - or is it just to the OWAS CONTENT
tables? Help appreciated.
