I am an NT/SQL Server admin and developer. I am much more comfortable in the NT/windows environment than UNIX. I am currently at a client that has requested that I do some very light DBA work for an Oracle 8 server that is running on a HP-UX UNIX box. I am trying to find out if I can use the Oracle8 Client/Enterprise Manager from my NT Workstation to manage this server- just admin userids/passwords and light performance monitoring. Seems like a stupid question, but I would like to know before I breathe the sigh of relief and install the GUI tool. Eh? Thanks!! - MDM
